Mount Warning NSW Australia

Whenever possible, Maria and myself drive into the Hinterland of the Gold Coast — we live in Southern Queensland very close to the border of New South Wales.

Most beautiful country towns and farms and places we like to explore and when we drive a day or two or three, we end up close to Byron and its pretty Hinterland or even further south along Ballina. The trip up the M1 is fast, so 300 to 500 km over two or three days is no problem at all. Getting down to Sydney would take us a week through the Hinterland and back north up the coast another week, so we would take our caravan.
